the silent valley

the hills are scarred by crimson stains,
silence echoes thru’ northern plains.
the wounds and blood have bleed the night,
my world torn up by fading light.

a shadow falls across the doors,
the streets claim lives who are no more.
enduring pains etched mother’s eyes,
beneath the weight of heavy skies.

can you overrun this tide of grief?
every moment offers no relief.
the scars remain with the blood shed,
upon the stillness of the violent bed.

vicinity towards imphan
was once a bloodbed of innocents
